Everything here, meaning game guides, tier lists, gear reviews and buying guides, is published for general information.
We work to get it right, but we cannot promise that every page is complete, still current after a patch or a price change, or right for your exact device and situation. What you do with the information is your call.
2. Game guides and tier lists
Our guides reflect what was true when they were written.
- Game mechanics, stats and rankings change with every update
- Tier lists are judgement calls based on time spent playing, not objective fact
- A strategy that works today can be patched out tomorrow
Every guide carries the game version it was checked against and the date it was checked. That is there so you can decide for yourself how much to trust it. When something falls too far behind, we either update it or take it down.
We are not responsible for in game resources you spend or strategies that stop working after an update.
3. Gear reviews
This is the part worth reading properly, because most sites are vague about it and we would rather not be.
Every gear page on this site is one of two things, and it says which one at the top.
Tested means we bought the product with our own money, used it for at least two weeks, and the page carries photographs we took ourselves plus the price and month we paid. Where we say we measured something, we measured it.
Not tested means we have not used it. The page says so in the first screen, and it works from published specifications, pricing history and what buyers consistently report. It does not pretend otherwise.
There is no third category, and we do not use language that implies hands on testing on a page that had none.
Beyond that:
- Prices, stock and specifications change constantly. Check the retailer before buying.
- Your results can differ based on your device, settings and how you use it.
- We are not responsible for purchase decisions made on the strength of a page here.
If a review sample is ever provided by a brand, that page will say so at the top, and it changes nothing about what we write.
4. Affiliate links
Some links in our gear reviews and buying guides earn us a commission.
- If you buy through one, we may earn a small amount and you pay the same price
- Most of these are through the Amazon Associates Program
- Commissions keep the site running and the content free
- They do not decide what gets recommended or what score it gets
We do not accept payment for placement, and if we ever did, the page would say so. This disclosure follows FTC guidelines.
5. Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense and other networks.
Those ads are selected and served by Google, not chosen by us. We do not endorse advertised products, advertisers are responsible for their own content, and we are not liable for what happens after you click one.
6. Links to other sites
We link to Roblox, YouTube, Amazon, developer sites and other platforms for reference. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what is on them, and a link is not an endorsement. Read their terms and privacy policies yourself.
7. Copyright and trademarks
Original content on BossGamerz, including our writing, our graphics and photographs we took, belongs to us and is protected by copyright.
- Game titles, characters, logos and trademarks belong to their owners
- BossGamerz is an independent site with no official connection to Roblox Corporation or any game developer. If that ever changes for a specific piece of content, that page will say so.
- Game screenshots and imagery are used for commentary and information under fair use
- Please do not republish our original work without asking
8. Mistakes
We will get things wrong sometimes. When we do:
- We correct the page rather than quietly editing and moving on
- If a page cannot be kept accurate, it comes down instead of sitting there misleading people
- Spotted something wrong? Email contact@bossgamerz.com and it gets fixed
Corrections are the cheapest way for a site like this to be worth reading.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, BossGamerz and the people who run it are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data or profits, damage arising from reliance on anything published here, or technical downtime.
